A. In theory, there is no maximum size to the lists they can handle. Our software is capable of scrubbing against the full global NWDNC list (62 million numbers at time of writing) as well as all current state lists and in-house lists.
Q. With my current scrubbing method, I can't scrub my list because the phone numbers have dashes in them, while my DNC list doesn't. Can the Scrub DNC software handle phone numbers in different formats?
A. Yes. Scrub DNC can compare lists even if the numbers are in different formats. The following formats are supported: 3145551234, 314.555.1234, 314-555-1234, 314 555-1234, (314)555-1234, (314) 555-1234, 314,5551234, 314/555-1234.
Q. My phone numbers have non-standard separators in them (ex: 636%282%7300). Will that effect how Scrub DNC cleans my list?
A. Scrub DNC is designed to work with and handle non-standard characters in your lists. However, for best results, please clean your list of any non-standard characters (see list of supported phone formats above).
Q. How long does the Scrub DNC software take to scrub a list?
A. Scrubbing times will very depending on the number of call lists and NDC lists being scrubbed and how clean the lists are.
Q. What if I accidentally call a number on the DNC list?
A. A lawyer should be contacted for all legal advise. For your convenience, Scrub DNC outputs scrubbing logs so that you can verify that you acted in good faith as well as, if Scrub DNC was properly used, the telemarketer may fall under the "Safe Harbor" protection as outlined by the FTC in this document.

A key* is good for one installation on one computer.
