Do you provide National DNC lists with your software?
No, our software does not come with any lists. We just provide you with the software needed to scrub your lists!
Where do I get DNC lists?
You must register with the National DNC Registry in order
to use the National DNC lists.
What is DNC scrubbing?
DNC Scrubbing refers to comparing your lead lists against Do Not Call lists to determine if any phone numbers that exist in your lead lists exist on the Do Not Call list.
What are lead lists?
Lead lists refer to your in-house collection of phone numbers that you plan to call.
What are DNC lists?
DNC lists or Do Not Call lists refer to lists that are downloaded from the Do Not Call Registry.
How do you scrub leads against DNC?
Our software allows you to upload multiple DNC files to compare against your Lead lists. Simply upload your Lead list as a 'List to Scrub' and a DNC file as a 'Do Not Call List'.
How do you check if a number is on the DNC list?
You can check whether your number is on the Registry at donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the number you want to verify.
Is there a fee for the Do Not Call list?
Starting October 1, 2023, the annual fee will be $78 per area code of data up to a max fee of $21,402.
What's the penalty for companies that illegally call numbers on the Do Not Call registry?
Companies that illegally call numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry or place an illegal robocall can currently be fined up to $42,530 per call.
Who is exempt from the Do Not Call registry?
There are some exemptions to the Do Not Call rules. Because of the limits to FTC’s authority, the Registry does not apply to political calls or calls from non-profits and charities. However, the Registry does cover
telemarketers calling on behalf of charities.
How long does the Do Not Call list last?
Your registration will never expire. The FTC will only remove your number from the Registry if it’s disconnected and reassigned, or if you ask to remove it.
Can I remove my phone number from the Do Not Call registry?
Yes. You can remove your number by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you want to remove. Your number will be off the Registry the next day. Companies have to update their telemarketing lists within 31 days.
How often do I need to have my lists re-scrubbed against the NWDNC?
The National DNC Registry requires you to re-scrub your list every 30 days to maintain a current status. However, state regulations may vary, please consult the
official state websites.
Can the Scrub DNC software handle phone numbers in different formats?
Yes. Scrub DNC can compare lists even if the numbers are in different formats.

My phone numbers have non-standard separators in them (ex: 636%296%5555). Will that affect how Scrub DNC cleans my list?
Scrub DNC is designed to work with and handle non-standard characters in your lists. However, for best results, please clean your list of any non-standard characters (see list of supported phone formats above).
How long does the Scrub DNC software take to scrub a list?
Scrubbing times will vary depending on the number of call lists and DNC lists being scrubbed and how clean the lists are.
What if I accidentally call a number on the DNC list?
A lawyer should be contacted for all legal advise. For your convenience, Scrub DNC outputs scrubbing logs so that you can verify that you acted in good faith as well as, if Scrub DNC was properly used, the telemarketer may
fall under the "Safe Harbor" protection as outlined by the FTC in this document.

This trial version is limited to scrub a maximum of 300 records at a time for 14 days.
A version of Scrub DNC must be registered to continue usage after the trial period.
Our software does not work with remote session/VM environment.
This program may not be redistributed without express consent of the authors.
No returns allowed on registered software.
Once software is purchased a registration key will be issued.
A key* is good for ONE installation on ONE computer.
